Kashmir Issue

Past, Present and Future

Who are we Kashmiris and what is our problem?

It can also be estimated from the fact that despite the tragedy of East Pakistan in 1971 and the imprisonment of 90,000 Pakistani soldiers in India, Pakistan remained steadfast.

In the Simla Agreement, if Bhutto accepted any change in the Line of Control, it was only to the extent of words in which the Line of Control was merely changed to the Line of Peace.

The biggest obstacle to the solution of the Kashmir issue is India's stubborn stand that after the partition of 1947, it cannot accept another partition. Article 370 and Article 35 of the Constitution of India.

According to A, a non-Kashmiri can live in Kashmir and cannot buy property, but a few years ago in the Supreme Court of India Article 370 and Article 35.

A writ was filed by the legal team of the Bharatiya Janata Party to end the special status of Kashmir.

Now efforts to settle Hindus on a large scale and turn Muslims into a minority are in full swing in Kashmir. The proposal to turn Muslims into a minority in Kashmir was given by Israeli Prime Minister Shimon Peres to the Indian government, in the context of which this game was played to change the demography of Kashmir.

At the same time, Pakistan effectively lobbied the international community to remedy the situation.

Failed and due to internal turmoil our Kashmir policy has now been limited to celebrating Kashmir Day and Exploitation Day.

India has done a lot on the fronts of war as well as law enforcement in Kashmir.

Article 370 and Article 35 related to Kashmir. By amending A, India has achieved a lot internally and now Pakistan has almost lost Kashmir.

At that time, the Indian government in Kashmir, after the resettlement of Sikhs and Hindus who migrated from Pakistan in Kashmir, established Pandit Colonies, Senak Colonies in Kashmir, the settlement of retired Indian soldiers in Kashmir, and allowed Indian Hindu students to live permanently in Kashmir.

Working fast on the formula.

In this context, along with effective diplomacy, Pakistan urgently needs to form a legal team consisting of international law experts who can expose Indian moves in Kashmir to the international community.

After removing the special status of Kashmir, India's attitude towards Pakistan has completely changed and it refuses to have any serious talks with Pakistan.

In such a situation, we need not only organized efforts for the Kashmir issue at international forums but also a dire need to control the internal chaos.

We can only be the voice of Kashmir by being united and the growing division and polarization in our society is only benefiting the enemies of Pakistan.

Only a strong and stable Pakistan can do anything for the Kashmiri brothers while the situation is that we are sinking into a quagmire day by day.

Our social, political, and economic conditions are even worse than Bangladesh.

Before the May 9 tragedy repeats itself, our power stakeholders need to come up with a new social contract and road map for a brighter future for the country.
